Devious Journal Entry

  • Listening to: my computer fan
  • Reading: old class notes
  • Eating: hopefully a muffin.
I am probably the only one who reads this. Isn't that funny? I think we've all got a desire to post things on the internet, even though deep down we know that it's only so we can survey our own page and think "yup, I look cool." That's probably why there's so much pointless crap on the internet. We know we CAN post whatever we want because there's no quality filter. Existence is the only requirement for asserting one's importance in a global arena. Interesting. I'm sure the ancients would have thought differently. Back then one actually had to do something.

...I am really just wasting time. I should go do something productive.
Have a blessed day, everyone!

the same to you.

Hmmmm....

Sound's like someone's been feeling philosophical lately. Might want to take a break from the Puritans for a while.

Though, actually, that might be a point...

I believe the internet should for ever be as free as its going to be. If only proffessionals were aloud to do any thing on the internet the internet would get boring. If only proffessionals were taken seriously there would be no teachers and proffessionalism would die.

true - the internet's open arena does provide opportunities for talent to be recognized that might otherwise go unnoticed. I suppose it just means that we have to approach it with a basic understanding that not everything is of equal quality. Broadness of experience is a good thing as long as you already know who you are =)

Strangely enough, I read this.

You must really be cool.
